Are you new to classes? We encourage you to try classes to change up your workout routine, to motivate you to take it to the next level and for plain old fashion fun!
Tips for class:
- Don’t try and keep up with the instructor – they are teaching for all levels!
- Keep your weights low or perhaps no weights at all just do the movements. Weight repetition can be taxing. Take it low & slow until you find “your” balance within the class.
- Cardio can leave you huffing and puffing! That’s ok; simply march on the spot until you are ready to join in again.
- Tell our certified instructors if you have any limitations so they can provide a modification.
- Bring lots of water and a towel for sweating.
Classes are an amazing way to see your progress. It won’t be long before you realize you didn’t stop or you added a pound or two to your weights.
Crank It Up Circuits – This class uses time based intervals of work and rest to focus on improving cardio and strength simultaneously. This full body workout uses circuit style stations and gives participants the ability to challenge themselves as much or as little as they want. Geared for all ages and abilities! Come check it out, you’re sure to have fun while getting stronger!
Kickboxing with Equipment – This class will tax your cardio system like no other. Demanding intervals of cardio and strength will be followed by a “brief”rest. This rapid fire class is a “HIT” for those wanting to burn lots of calories!
Kick It Up Boot Camp – High intensity, mixed cardio strength & ab drills.
“Seniors” Cardio, Stretch & Joint Mobility – stay limber through a series of stretches and increase your joint strength & mobility.
“Seniors” Fit Fab Fun – a mix of cardio, toning, core strengthening and stretching suing chairs, resistance bands and more. This class is designed specifically for seniors of varying fitness levels.
Super Spin – Using spinning bikes, music and visualization techniques each participant is motivated to achieve their own goals.
Total Body Rip – Shred your body with this awesome full body burn. Strength bars with adjustable weights will be used to sculpt and tone from head to toe. Yes, abs too!
Total Body RIP with Cardio & Abs – It’s a total body rip with cardio that will leave you gasping for air! Oh…and yes of course abs!
Yoga – The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind. Yoga poses tone the whole body, they strengthen bones and muscles, correct posture, improve breathing, and increase energy.
- Flow Yoga – Using the poses of Power Yoga but in a flow style yoga moving from one pose right into another.
- Hatha Yoga – A more relaxed yoga class with emphasis on breathing and stretching.
Strength & Stamina – This class emphasizes full body conditioning with a focus on muscle strength and endurance, using dumbbells, barbells and body weight exercises. You will work all muscle groups and get your heart rate pumping. Participants will learn proper form and a variety of exercises that they are able to use in weight room. This class is for all fitness levels!
Bootcamp – This class will rev up your metabolic system with non-stop full-body conditioning exercises involving high intensity cardio segments and weight bearing exercises. This is a varied workout using different equipment every time, some days in circuit training, training with multiple sets, drills, partner work, tabata or pyramid style workouts. This variation makes sure you get the most out of your workout by switching it up on your body every time! This class will help you get the high endurance in both cardiovascular and muscular fitness you are looking for and geared for everyone!
Intro to Group Fitness – A breakdown of moves and modifications, as well as an introduction to all of our equipment used in our various classes. Music and commodore keep you motivated!
